Lauren H.

Founder / Esthetician

My name is Lauren, founder of Skintuition. I have been a licensed esthetician since 2001, and have worked in the spa industry ever since!

I opened Skintuition in June of 2014. Owning and operating this business has been the most rewarding experience I have ever had. At this point in my journey of business ownership, I have taken a step back from 'behind the chair'  to focus solely on managing the growing business of Skintuition. My main focus is to fine tune every detail of your Skintuition experience so that your time with us is comfortable, professional, and extraordinary.

I am a Rochester Hills Michigan girl, born and raised. I am married to my wonderful husband Phil, and mommy  to our 2 cats- Grapefruit and Basil. While I am not focusing on Skintuition, I love to travel, cook, enjoy wine, shop online, decorate my house, and spend time with my family and friends.

Cami S.

Spa Director / Esthetician

Hey, I'm Cami! I started at Skintuition in 2016 as a Guest Concierge, and after graduating from college, I accepted the full-time position of Spa Director. Serving our guests and leading the Skintuition team everyday gives me such joy! My ultimate goal is to ensure everyone feels safe and satisfied when visiting Skintuition.

I completed an Esthetics Apprenticeship here at Skintuition in 2021 to further my skincare knowledge and better serve our clients. I am now proudly a licensed esthetician!
 

When I'm not managing the spa, I love to spend time with my husband, Scott, and our two kitty boys, Niko and Loki. Stephanie H.

Hello, my name is Stephanie, and I am a licensed esthetician here at Skintuition. I graduated from Douglas J Aveda Institute in 2017 and have been practicing esthetics ever since.

I joined the Skintuition team in February of 2019. I love working with people and even more so, I love being the one to help those people feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin. I'm constantly online watching videos about new and different techniques for both facials and waxing, figuring out what works best for me. 

Outside of work, I enjoy baking, cooking, and finding exciting new recipes to prepare. I have 2 dogs- a yorkie named Bella and a Pit mix named Nala. I love candles! Scented candles are something that I will never have enough of. I spend most of my free time hanging out with my hubby.

Hope C.

My name is Hope, and I have worked as a licensed esthetician since 2018, after graduating from Douglas J Aveda Institute.

I joined the Skintuition team in August of 2020. I enjoy just about every aspect of this field, and I love that esthetics is a beautiful blend of science and wellness. I feel so grateful that I get to spend my days making people feel pampered, refreshed, and beautiful. Helping my clients reach their skin goals is my personal passion, as well as educating my clients on how to take care of their skin at home, so that YOU feel like you have the knowledge to care for your skin well.

Outside of work, I like to spend my time with my husband Nick, and our dog child, Bean. Nick loves to cook, and Bean & I love to taste-test ;) On Sunday mornings, you can always find all three of us on the front porch! I’m a firm believer that you can never have too many houseplants, and I can make a mean margarita.

If I’m your esthetician, you can trust I’ll give your skin the time and attention that I’d give my own!

Shelly O.

Hello, my name is Rachelle (Shelly) and I have worked as a licensed esthetician since 2017 and graduated from the Michigan College of Beauty.

I joined the Skintuition team in March of 2021. I love being able to help those with any skin concerns and make you feel beautiful and confident in your own skin. I have a strong passion for skin care and makeup, I am always looking for the next and latest trend in this industry.

Outside of work, you will find me in the kitchen cooking up a new recipe or whipping up a fresh batch of cookies. I have a green thumb for planting herbs or adding a new house plant to my collection. I also enjoy being outdoors whenever I can, especially out on Lake St. Clair.

Jessica S.

Hello, My name is Jessica and I’m a licensed Esthetician here at Skintuition. I graduated from Douglas J Aveda in 2020.

I have been passionate about skincare since I was a little girl. I was always watching youtube videos on the best new skincare products and techniques. My favorite thing when I was young was to try out face masks and having spa nights with my friends!

I worked for Lush Cosmetics for 4 years and I learned about different skincare ingredients and how they help your skin. It helped me realize that I loved helping people reach their skincare goals and that I wanted to continue to expand my skincare knowledge with a career as an Esthetician. I joined the Skintuition team in April of 2021.

When I’m not working at Skintuition I enjoy relaxing with a good book and a cup of tea. I also love baking and have been working on creating the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe!

I can’t wait to meet you and help you relax and achieve all your skincare goals!

Megann M.

Hi, my name is Megann and I graduated from Douglas J. Aveda, Royal Oak in 2019.

I started working as a receptionist at Skintuition in January of 2020, and am proud to now be a fully licensed esthetician as of June 2021! It will be lovely to see some familiar faces in the treatment rooms. 

Skincare has always been a huge passion of mine since having stubborn acne in high school, and I have my mother to thank for supporting my passion growing up. It has been my goal to know the ins and out of every single product we carry on our shelves at Skintuition (mostly by trying them!) but also by consistently reading up on any new product that touches our shelves.

I live in Detroit with my dog, Ziggy Stardust. In my free time, I enjoy taking Ziggy to Belle Isle to go swimming and on morning walks to Red Hook for coffee.

Hi, my name is Nadia! I started at Skintuition in 2019 as a Guest Concierge and am now working as a licensed Esthetician!

I completed an Esthetics Apprenticeship here at Skintuition and am proud to be fully licensed as of October 2022! My goal is to help my clients enhance their natural beauty and feel confident in their skin!

When I'm not working at Skintuition, I enjoy painting my nails crazy designs and I love spending time on DIY projects. I spend Sundays having pasta dinners with my family and enjoying a good Netflix show!

Hello! My name is Alyssa and I was welcomed to the Skintuition team in April of 2023 and I've loved it ever since! I became a licensed esthetician in 2021, after graduating from Michigan College of Beauty, and I look forward to learning so much from the talented girls that work here.

Outside of work, I love sitting down with a good book and an iced chai tea latte. I have a cat named Olive and I'm a big animal lover - feel free to show me pictures of your animals. My favorite thing is my heated blanket, I absolutely cannot live without it!

Amelia S.

Esthetician / Guest Concierge

Hello! My name is Amelia and I'm honored to be working alongside the talented ladies at Skintuition. I started at Skintuition in 2022 as a Guest Concierge and briefly left to get my esthetics license from Douglas J. Aveda Institute and became fully licensed in July 2023.

My love of skincare likely started because of my mom. From a young age she taught me the importance of wearing sunscreen and buying higher quality skincare and makeup products. A trip to the mall always consisted of a stop at the Clinique counter. 

​

I love learning about and trying out new products (I blame the lady at the Clinique counter who always threw in extra samples for me!). Whether you need help with your skincare goals or need some self care and relaxation, I'm looking forward to giving you exceptional care and attention.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with our family outdoors. I've been married to my college sweetheart, David, for 18 years and have two children who light up my world. Our dog, Twila, is my little shadow and she holds a pretty special place in my heart too. (Yes, she is named after Twyla on Schitt's Creek!). The mountains and lakes are our happy place. We love skiing together in the winter and enjoy summer days on our boat on all of the amazing lakes in our area. I feel blessed to call Rochester our home.
