Skinbetter AlphaRet® Peel
$128
The AlphaRet® Professional Peel contains a patented retinoid, alpha hydroxy acid conjugate and Triple Acid (glycolic, lactic and salicylic) formulation. This treatment has been clinically shown to visibly improve the texture of skin, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, blemishes, uneven skin tone and dullness from photodamage. We recommend a series of three peels booked 4 weeks apart for optimal results.

Level 1 Custom Peel
$88
Our Level 1 Peels remove the stratum corneum, and provide a mild, even exfoliation of dead facial skin cells. Skin may appear a little flakey a few days after treatment, but often times no visible peeling is seen at all. This is a good lead-in for a mid or max peel.

Level 2 Custom Peel
$98
Our Level 2 Peels affect the intra-epidermal layer, and exfoliation occurs within 2-3 days after treatment. You can expect the skin to be a bit pink at first, similar to a mild sunburn, with flaking and peeling beginning 2-3 days after treatment.

Level 3 Custom Peel
$108
Our Level 3 Peels affect the deepest intra-epidermal layers. The skin will be pink and tight immediately post treatment. In most cases, but not in all cases, the skin will undergo considerable peeling 3-4 days after treatment, continuing for 7-10 days.
Custom Peels FAQ
How often should I get a Custom Peel?
Peels are best done in a series of 6 treatments, spaced 2-4 weeks apart. Ideally, we up the level with each peel, starting with level 1, then level 2, and then level 3. Doing it this way ensures that your skin gets accustomed to the peel process, and we are able to really treat the skin concerns that you are working on. Home care is necessary when doing a series of peels in order to see the best results, and to regenerate your skin safely and effectively.
How much peeling will I get from a Custom Peel?
The peels that we use at Skintuition are superficial skin peels, which means is that they work within the epidermis, and do not penetrate the dermis. Visible skin peeling is often a side effect of getting a professional peel. It may appear as flakey skin, or it may be considerable and peel off in larger sheets. But, visible peeling does not always occur with every client. The texture, tone and overall appearance of the skin can still be improved considerably whether or not peeling occurs.
Are there any post facial instructions that I need to follow?
Avoid make-up and sweating immediately after your peel, as it may irritate your skin. Avoid direct sun exposure, saunas, hot tubs and steam rooms for 1 week. Wear SPF30 or higher daily and keep skin moisturized. No retinol, Retin-A, tretinoin, acids or exfoliation for 1 week before and after any peel.
